Light, bright and inviting - these are the core elements we’ve incorporated into our design. We want everyone who walks through our doors to feel uplifted and empowered to reach their climbing potential.
After walking through our front doors at the corner of Victoria Ave E and North St, climbers will be greeted by friendly faces at our front desk and our bright, well lit main room featuring two large bouldering walls and two adjustable training boards.
Our facility will have features that cater to all climbers, from beginner to expert. With a variety of wall angles and shapes, our goal is to create a space where every visitor is able to push themselves in a safe and supportive environment.
We haven’t forgotten about the outdoor climbers! A large dihedral (aka a corner - seen on the left side of the feature shown above) will give us the ability to set balancy problems which mimic the vertical and balancy climbing that is common in our region.
Versatility is a key element of our wall design - that’s why we have included two adjustable training boards, to ensure that all our visitors are able to push their limits.
Worried about crowding and noise in the gym? Our facility features two separate spaces, allowing us to control the flow of different user groups in the gym. This side features our steepest walls, as well as a long slab wall and our training area.
We want all of our visitors to feel like there is space for them in our facility - adjacent to the climbing in both sides of the gym will be breakout areas where visitors can get off the mats, take a break, and watch their friends tackle problems.
